  We always enjoy staying here.the prices are reasonable. Location is very central to our needs. Rooms are clean warm with comfy beds and we appreciate that they are pet friendly. Also there is a restaurant as well as a fun little pub on site.

  The first room we where placed into had a pretty peculiar smell in it, after speaking to the front desk they changed out our rooms. The next room was up to par and we where very thankful for the service we received. However I do think the hotel needs some upgrading as far as rooms and beds go, perhaps some renovations for the bathrooms as well.
  
  Overall I was happy with my stay.

  Stayed at the Sandman Hotel & Suites Calgary West and was met with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was conveniently located for my needs, is close to various food choices, a gas station, and other services. My hotel room was clean and while the hotel shows that it is aging, it is definitely a good stay. I also plan to stay again in the near future when I visit Calgary again. The room rates provided by the hotel were very reasonable and appeared to be the best available, even when other services were considered. Overall a very good stay.
