I was new to tai chi and martial arts outside of movies. I am one that has never enjoyed anything fitness/exercising and was pulled into a class becuse my neighbor went back into practicing. Who knew that would lead to having found my fitness regime with Yang Tai Chi that has stuck for over a year!
I have enjoyed working on all parts of Yang Tai Chi within myself; the body, the emotional and the spiritual. I consider myself blessed to have Sifu Peggy open her studio and share her knowledge with me and her patience is that of a saint ;-)
She is so accepting that when a challenging life situation progressed where my older sick dog was not doing well, Sifu Peggy allowed me to bring him to some classes which had me keep practicing. I am lucky to have been pulled into Yang Tai Chi and will always say that I want to be just like Sifu Peggy when I grow up.
As a cancer survivor, I was experiencing cognitive, “ chemo brain”, and kinaesthetic deficits. Having recently had a bad fall, I was happy to discover Sifu Peggy and her school of Tai Chi. After only 3 months I am experiencing a marked improvement in my balance and memory. I look forward to working on my strength and energy. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, Sifu Peggy.
