  My kids and I love this park. We have visited a cabin or the lodge at least once a year, since 2006. We have fished, rented boats, held Easter egg hunts, played in the snow and enjoyed the gazebo on our 'rainy day picnics.' We currently have a cabin reserved for later in the year. We look forward to another visit!

  This place is beautiful. However I wish people that come to visit our beautiful lake would leave it the way they found it and obey our rules. I'm so sick of tourists that feel rules don't apply to them. We currently have a burn ban on. Low and behold a fire. And litter. Some of us live here. Don't be pigs. Don't burn our paradise.

  Beautiful park and lake! Highly recommend a visit and get a spot early! Especially in the summer.
  
  Cabins could be more secluded but at least close to water front.
  
  Somewhat ample parking and very clean. Even for America.
  
  Water was warm so if you're looking for an extreme cold refreshing dip then go elsewhere maybe.

  Silver Lake is a great public place to swim, bring your own small boat, or rent a paddle boat, canoe, row boat, even paddle board. You'll probably need to make reservations to camp and definitely will to rent a cabin. They sell souvenirs and ice cream in the office. There's a playground and a couple of gazebos with fire pits. Lots of picnic benches and grills.
