herb and Dee are the owners, they're super friendly who serve you themselves. The place is take-out style but has a few tables inside and out. There are specials every weekend.

Great and innovative food! Fresh and cooked/grilled on premises. Take-home or eat inside (booths) or outside (tables and picnic tables). Herb and Dea are a great pair to run this island eatery. Herb is outgoing and fun while Dea is very creative and a good chef. Open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for about 9 months of the year. An island favorite and located by ferry dock and Islander Store, so very convenient for visitors. Different specials each week along with regular menu. Ribs are a big hit, Angus beef or veggie burgers also popular! Casual and friendly. Regulars purchase Punch cards ($50 for $60 worth of food). Cash or Punch cards only - no credit cards or checks. Can get cash at Islander store next door. Highly recommend!

I believe I talked to the owner at the register, who was very pleasant and had no issue accommodating dietary restrictions. This location only takes​ cash or check, but they were fine with us placing our order, then walking across the lot to the ATM next door (the fee is a little under $3). The owner brought our food out to us and provided silverware, definitely unexpected! My 1/3 Lb. lettuce-wrapped burger with the Chipotle mayo sauce hit the spot, and I understand the fish tacos special my family had was also delicious.

This is definitely a place I would stop at again, and not just because it's one of very few options on Lummi island.

Wow! I could not have conceived of a better treat after a bike ride than the delicious burger I found here, along with Herb's warm hospitality. Incredible food!
