  My wife and I found this place delightful in every way, from the traditional country style setting and accommodations, complete with clawfoot bathtub and shower, to the warm and welcoming demeanor of the owner, who served us a generous and hearty breakfast. The amenities include a hot tub, a swimming pool available in summer, and a large well kept lawn surrounding the beautifully maintained house. We look forward to returning soon.

  What good fortune to have been looking for a place to get away to near Bellingham, WA and finding this gem. Sundara West B&B is beautiful, the host, Jackie is lovely, engaging and helpful, the grounds charming and peaceful. The breakfast each morning was served in a gracious manner and was delicious and plentiful. Great coffee, too! Being in a country setting and yet so very close to Bellingham was a perfect melding of calm and small city opportunity. My wife and I will return again and again to this Bellingham-area gem.

  We chose Sundara West for our wedding night. It was close to our venue, secluded, and very unique. The service was excellent, breakfast was delicious, and we had everything we needed in our room. We plan to go back for anniversaries!

  Our Anniversary celebration at Sundara West truly was an extraordinary get-away weekend with lots of time to read, listen to the rain, wander thru the gardens, soak in the outdoor hot tub and swim in the inside pool, catch a movie, enjoy unhurried conversations and experience some truly exquisite breakfasts. Highly recommended!
