(April 15, 2019, 11:05 pm)Local excellence! No trip to Birch Bay is complete without a trip to this local gem candy maker. For many years, they've been producing quality truffles, fudge, caramels, peanut butter treats – and Easter bunnies. Oh, the bunnies! They're all made in-house, primarily using antique chocolate molds, and are all masterfully done, in dark, milk and white chocolate. Be prepared for long lines around Easter and in the summer tourist season, though. Don't worry: it's worth it!

(March 5, 2019, 4:16 am)The Cshop is a must visit during the summers in Birch Bay! Grab a snow cone or ice cream cone and wander down to the beach to walk on the expansive tide flats. Also pro tip...at the end of the season they sell all their extra chocolates for huge discounts!
