Jack in the Box

One time I was literally 4 cents short for my total bill. Was 10.04. I only had a 10 dollar bill. With no change available in my pocket, no more $ & no plastic to swipe I asked if I could pay the 4 cents next time, as I frequent this location. The employee, insisted that would no be acceptable & suggested I look in my car for the 4 cents. I was so embarrassed, changing the order didn't even cross my mind, instead I followed the suggestion and dug in my car for what seemed a lifetime to find some kind of change, when thankfully I found a nickle, and proceeded to pay the employee, who had my meal waiting, whom by the way seemed all too pleased to had humiliated me, the customer over 4 cents. I still go back, cause it's the only thing around open at 2 am. But this particular situation happened during the day. Night folk are nice... There's my honest opinion.

Thursday March 21st around 10:30am I went through the drive through in Blaine after leaving an appointment in the area. I ordered jalapeno poppers. (Have been my favorite for years since it’s filled with cheese and not cream cheese). The first bite taste off but I thought to myself that I don’t eat fast food hardly ever so maybe I’m just not use to something deep fried. So I ate a second one, NOPE something was completely off. Within 5 miles of driving toward Bellingham. I had to pull off of i5 and RUN for a bathroom. Not sure what the deal was but the taste was definitely off and it was not in just the one it was in both that I ate. Threw the rest away. Not leaving a 1 star because it could have been a bad batch or a fluke but I am leaving a review so its noted. Sucks because I cant even think of ordering the poppers again because of how bad I felt afterword’s.

Probably the best Jack in the Box in Whatcom county. They didn't forget any thing or mess up my order. AND they understood and spoke good English.

Full disclosure: I love Jack's. Today while awaiting an 8 a.m. appointment in Birch Bay we had breakfast at Jack's. I had a breakfast croissant. Always a winner. Plus a 2 for 1 coupon for taking a survey. That's like 2 breakfast croissants!
