  I left feeling excited to learn about my car and take care of it, instead of anxious to "deal with" going a mechanic. I appreciated the thorough repair order of what was going on with it based on the inspection, and never felt pressured to get the long list taken care of then and there. Even when I mentioned that I was interested in handling the more simple repairs at home, I wasn't pressured into paying for them to do the work here instead. I like that they take pictures and write out explanations to email you, as well as taking the time to go through it afterwards.
  
  My fiancé ended up coming here a few days later with a new purchase that turned out to not be just a cosmetic fixer upper like we'd thought it was (RIP), and the team at Rod's was very helpful with explaining what exactly it would need to have worked on. They were even able to take me to the car and point it all out so I could understand better. They helped turn our mistake into a learning experience without making us feel dumb.
  
  I don't usually give reviews, but I was so pleased with the experience here that I'm making an exception. I'll be suggesting this place any time someone asks for a mechanic recommendation!
  
  (Also, oh my god, get a pre purchase inspection before you buy a used car!! Don't be like us!)

  Love Rod's Japanese Auto Care! Don't be fooled by the name, they work on all makes and models. Brittany makes everyone feel so comfortable! She takes the time to thoroughly explain everything without talking down to you. The way she explains things makes you feel like car stuff is not completely over your head.

  I love Rod's Japanese Auto Care. I started going to them when I first brought my Toyota Hybrid. They always do an amazing job and are super nice. They get you in right away and complete the work in a timely manner. They also give you a comprehensive review of the state of your vehicle and the work that they do. You can tell that the people who work there really care about their clients. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

  After having so many years of bad experiences with car mechanics, I was very blessed after my service was done with my Honda element. When I first called I was at work and was unable to bring the vehicle in and they offered to pick it up for me right away! I was very impressed for the level of convenience that offered for me, along with an emailed inspection report (Big plus!!). Logan was very personable and responsive! I felt as if for the first time I was able to trust a place to bring my car into. I did not once feel pushed into what I had purchased.
  My only concern was before I went to pick up my vehicle I was quoted a price on the phone and by the time I got there, there was an additional few hundred dollars added (which was understandable), which was a little hurtful for my bank account and not the greatest approach as I wasn't prepared, however, because of the amazing service, I did not mind too much and was able to dig out the extra money. Much appreciated to Logan and the gentlemen who serviced the car, you all are so much appreciated in all you do! Keep up the good work, and I'll see you guys again (:
