It is a nice place to sit and relax by the water. Only a minute or two from the parking lot to the lake. There was a bench and a long log to sit on. The kids enjoyed skipping rocks.

Parking off of Euclid Street allows for about 6 cars maybe a few more if they Park really nicely. This park has a little loop trail that goes through the woods that really isn't that great for biking because there are a lot of trees down usually. Other than the loop trail there is Waterfront access to a really nice Sandy Beach that has access to Lake Whatcom. There are lots of smallmouth bass and striped perch if you're into fishing that we saw snorkeling around. Depending on the height of the lake the beach Maybe big one day and not as much the next time. There are no bathrooms facilities or drinking fountains at the park, so come prepared. This park closes at dark, and if you have a fire you might get kicked out with more consequences. The nieghborhood is pretty affluent so they will probly just call the police on you for beong here after dark. In the summer it can get more Rowdy with people bringing their coolers and lugging down a lot of stuff to the beach. From the parking 2 the beach itself is a little bit of a hike that would take you about six minutes , but if you have a cooler and lots of stuff to carry and kids it might take you 10 minutes. There are definitely coyotes in the area so be mindful of having dogs off leash around Dusk and Dawn, my dog was recently attacked in the Berkeley neighborhood and I was lucky enough to come flying around the corner on my mountain bike and the coyote dropped my dog out of its mouth relatively unharmed other than two puncture marks. And this park is practically more rural than that Park in Barkley. And I have seen the coyotes in this neighborhood this year and mentioned it to someone that responded there has been a lot of cats missing all of a sudden (2019). Anyway on that note Whatcom County recently stopped allowing people to feed wildlife and I have noticed changes in the deer and other animals. Picture is a random pumpkin I found someone dumped in Euclid Park. Anyway highlights include, sandy shallow water access good for kids for swimming, floating and fishing, a small loop trail good for leashed dogs. Some people come through here with dogs off-leash because it feels very remote but it's not always ideal when they're not friendly dogs because there is often another dog. EXTRA NOTE: if you bring a paddleboard or kayak here you probably want a small set of wheels for it because it is a good ways from the road parking especially if you have to carry anything else in your hands. You may find yourself discovering this park by boat, kayak, or StandUp Paddle Board from somewhere else like Blo Del Donavan since this undeveloped glen is in a smooth protected bay you may just be drawn to it, ideal for just floating about in a tube. Also in the summer it can be a bit Shady here so you may want to have something to float on to get out out of the woods and into the sun on the water. Great place for snorkeling. Probably not the best park for dogs since sometimes the beach can have high tide where there is only really room for one or two groups.

Went here once to pick weeds on a field trip. It's a pretty nice place and there's lots of sights to see.

I almost missed the parking lot because it's a little tucked away, but this place is pretty nice. The lake is to the left side of the park and I haven't reached the end of the trails just yet, but they seem pretty long.
