  This is a very cool place for tourists or for young kids. They have a ton of signage with educational hostorical facts and stories about the area.
  They have a small cafeteria here, so if you are really hungry eat before hand.
  
  Also, they have fishing and crabbing spots here; just be careful and read the signage. Not all spots on this pier are open for fishing and crabbing.
  
  You can also buy tickets for ferries and cruises here.

  Great sea kayak trip around the San Juan Islands. Amber and Sophia were our guides and were friendly and knowledgeable. Equipment provided is in good shape and was clean. Good workout, views and guides were good on safety.

  My husband and I did the Lummi Island trip and it was fantastic! Kristi was our guide and she is wonderful-very laid back, knowledgable, and personable. She made the experience easy and safe. She provided a delicious lunch according to our dietary needs and preferences, and it was all organic food with good variety. The length of the trip was perfect, and we saw so much wildlife! I can't recommend Moondance enough! We will definitely be going on more trips.

  Moondance is the best! We have gone on a few trips with them and love taking visitors out on the water. They are top notch experts. We always have a great time while learning new facts and enjoying the beautiful environment.

  I've been on 2 different day trips with both Kristi and Alicia and found both guides to be passionate for their work, very knowledgeable, and quite personable. Would highly recommend for kayaking excursions in the area!
