(December 5, 2018, 2:27 pm)This is a very nice short round trip from the park entrance to the point where houses are built and back that measures approximately 1.36 miles of gravel based beach. Lots of shorebirds, sand, driftwood and great views of Fisherman Bay and San Juan and Shaw Island. On any given day of exploring, one can find Bald Eagles and many waterbirds. It is both a grand place to visit as well as relax after a long day.
I am sad that I had to move away. My roommate decided after cutting hair all day long he can't stand having anyone live with him and he requested I move out.
I will miss the many great places, great residents and life on Lopez Island. I am currently staying in Swede Haven as I look for long term housing. -
