  I am tentative about reviewing this park because it's our favorite place and it's difficult to get camping reservations already. ???? This is a great place to kayak from. We kayak to the light house and back. We have camped here several times. Some years you see the orca pods playing around. There is a nursery rock off shore where there are birds. The sea lions are in the water and their are eagles. It's magical. You have to reserve 3 months ahead. Please let them know if you will not be coming. In order to kayak you need to go through 1 hour of training by camp ranger. They teach you about protecting species in area and safety. Enjoy!

  Gorgeous place to get away from it all. No showers but good bathrooms. Not much privacy for each campsite but fantastic views. Might see whales here or at the nearby state park.

  This is a favorite camping spot. It's very quiet here. Deer are always around to get pears and apples that fall on the ground and you can hear and see seals lounging on the protected island just off shore. This trip last week was really cool because we saw a humpback whale for a short time and two years ago around the same time we saw local j and k orca pods go by early in the morning. We will be back next year. Make your reservations to get the good viewing camp sites. Enjoy!

  Quiet, rustic, camp ground with amazing views of the water. No services at the sites, but, the bathrooms are clean, nice, and modern. Easy access to the tide pools and a nice gravel beach. Big grassy area to play. Many stores have nice shade and are pretty level. Fire pits have good quality cooking grates.
