The food was delicious. Jeffrey the bartender provided great customer service. He made an amazing twist on a Old Fashion. Highly recommend.

This had to be among some of the best meals I have ever had. We did the chef's tasting menu, and everything was thoughtfuly put together. There was no wondering why anything should be in any dish, as everything had a purpose. The use of lemon verbena on the black cod was refreshing with the creamy garlic ramp puree, fennel frawns on the oysters was a brilliant touch, they had a slice of pork neck (from their very own pigs) that went with a beautiful shaved asparagus salad, finished with micro chervil from their garden. Every course impressed, every bite satisfied. The service was excellent, in fact, there were a few details that are rarely done at most fine-dining establishments anymore that don't slip through the cracks here. For example, you won't come back from the restroom with food sitting there. They wait until all guests are back before bringing out food so it can be explained to the diner what they are about to enjoy. Also, the administrative staff worked with me to plan around my other activities and make sure our timing worked out. Overall, all I have to say is, well done. In all ways. And thank you.

We had a dinner reservation for 4 people at 5pm at Inn at Ship Bay. We had a choice to sit in a private room with a beautiful view of the water, so I would suggest doing an early dinner reservation. Drinks were excellent. Food was exceptional!! Salmon, gnocchi, scallops... everything was delicious. We also shared creme brûlée and a lemon tart for dessert, both were very tasty. Overall, exceptional experience and customer service! The restaurant is on the pricier end, but the ingredients were very fresh and high quality. Highly recommend for a dinner spot on Orcas Island!
