Wooly Buggah Barn

Amazing spot, with beautiful views. The barn is setup tastefully and has everything you need. It is close enough to KT for all the fun, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet, if that is also what you are after.

So my new wife and I had an amazing honeymoon at Wooly Buggah Barn. I don't know how Chris and Katie did it but their trained moose escort was very impressive! The cozy Barn was perfect for relaxing and cooking so we enjoyed staying in and unwinding after a hectic wedding week. The views and fall colours were just spectacular. We also spent a couple days biking at the nearby Kingdom Trails. It's a fantastic way to spend time in the Northeast Kingdom (NEK).

Amazing and thoughtful hosts! Chris and Katie went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. We stayed in the beautifully renovated barn for 3 WEEKS! We (my husband, daughter, and 2 small dogs) felt at home immediately. Very clean. Everything was new. They made sure the kitchen was stocked, linens were always clean, and they quickly answered any random question we had. We were spoiled with a cheese tasting one night. They're there when you need them, but you always feel like you're in your own little private piece of home. We are so thankful we found this place! We have been coming up to Burke to visit my family for many years. This was by far the best place. We will definitely be back! I just hope we can find 3 weeks next year with them - this is a hidden gem and I think this place will be booked more often!

FANTASTIC! Very gracious hosts that were super helpful and kind. The barn house was very clean and well stocked. Beautiful area and plenty to do outdoors. We went mountain biking at Kingdom trails, swam in a crystal clear lake and climbed a mountain all within 20 min of the house. Would definitely book again!

Words are hardly enough to describe this getaway. Breath taking views, absolutely delicious (healthy!) food, awesome workouts and the perfect balance between relaxation and peace plus resetting with a focus on health and wellness. Couldn’t recommend more! I’m going back as soon as possible and making it a tradition!
