No Dog Left Behind

Working with Derek has helped us move the bar with our dog-aggressive pooch. Over the course of several weeks, we have been able to increase our own confidence but also improve our dog's behaviour. We aren't afraid to go on walks anymore as we have the tools and knowledge now to address situations that used to seem embarassing or unbearable. We'd recommend No Dog Left Behind to anyone dealing with less than desirable behaviours from their fur babe. Derek has been super honest, approachable and we are very happy with the results so far. The only thing we'd change is working with him sooner!

Excellent experience at NDLB Puppy Daycare with our Stanley! After only the second visit we noticed a huge improvement in his behaviour, specifically his walking on a leash skills. He is doing his second round now and his attention span during home training is much longer than when he started. The videos are also helping with home training. We absolutely love the report cards and pictures, we know he is having a great time at “school” . I would recommend this class to everyone with a puppy!

I cannot say enough good things about Derek and his staff at No Dog Left Behind. He and his team are genuinely invested in the well being of all the dogs they meet. They train with positive reinforcement, gentleness and patience. Derek and his staff are knowledgeable, approachable and so very helpful. I have the utmost confidence in leaving my pup in their care as I know she will be taught with love and treated with the utmost care. Highly recommend!!

I have been following Derek’s training methods for a long time. I had him come to my house a few years ago to teach me how to stop my dogs barking at the neighbour’s dogs. I really like Derek’s methods. They don’t involve any corrections but the dog learns because it teaches the dog what you want without having to use a correction. If your dog has special problems he is willing to give private lessons. This is something that most training classes won’t do.

He also has group classes for many different ages and sizes of dogs. I would definitely recommend No Dog Left Behind.

Derek and his associate trainers are amazing. We have our puppy in a puppy class as well as in Derek’s puppy training and daycare program. We have also had Derek in to our home to do a one on one consult. Every class has been awesome. My dog is always happy to see Derek and the other trainers. I love their methods and how they treat the animals (no dominance or meanness, just positive reinforcement and love). Derek also puts out lots of helpful free content to go along with training programs. Highly recommend.
