(September 11, 2017, 9:04 pm)Thompson Park seems like it isn't used much anymore. There are a few old seemingly abandoned soccer fields with several pairs of goals without the netting. The grass is usually kept around medium length but you can still kick a ball around in it. There is plenty of room to run around with the kids. There is a section beside the water where you can have a BBQ and just sit and enjoy the view. Seems to be used most times I've been there.
