We have a ducted central heating system and decided to replace our super noisy old heat pump and a furnace before the holidays. It was the best decision ever :)

The team at Vortex was extremely responsive and easy to deal with. From initial contact to the estimate to installation they were incredibly customer oriented and great to deal with, honest and pleasant. Their work was quick and aesthetically pleasing. A detailed walk through of the heat pump as well as maintenance schedule was provided.
It was very nice not to need the wife to peel the couch off me after installation because within a few hours the temperature dropped from 8747383 degrees to a cool comfortable 20.

I decided to call Vortex following a visit from another A/C repair company that told me that my 2019 A/C unit was unrepairable and that I needed a new one. From what this company was telling me, the compressor on my unit did not work anymore. I insisted that I thought it was just low on Freon but was told that the Freon was ok. The technician insisted that I meet with one of their salesmen and told me that they could sell me a "better quality" machine. Keep in mind that it took the technician almost 90 minutes to let me know this at 200/h for the first hour and 100/h after that. So 300$ later I was stuck with potentially buying a new AC.
I was positive that this was BS and I am super happy that I followed my gut. Eric from Vortex showed up to my house at the end of his day. Even though he was done for the day he still accepted to come see what my problem was. It took him about 3 minutes to tell me that my problem was that I was low on Freon. Then in record time he checked my whole system, fixed a small leak and refilled my Freon. I started my AC back up and everything works like a charm.
Thanks to Vortex for being an excellent trust worthy company and to Eric for being a reliable hardworking technician. Will recommend for sure. -
