(October 20, 2019, 10:58 pm)Beautiful landscape and great facility for group camps. I went with some Beaver Scouts for a few nights. My son had an amazing time and loved "the greatest chef ever" Jake. I'll probably look into this place for summer camps when my kids get a bit older. Two critiques, the outhouses could use a bit of toilet seat love (maybe the seats with larger bumps to get the seats higher off the shelf, and a little ledge for feet), and the quality of food could improve (not just Selection brand everything).

(December 28, 2017, 10:02 pm)Bear Creek has been such an amazing experience for our 10 year old, Jason, this past summer. He took part in the one-week Junior Adventure camp. I was a little concerned that he would get homesick, as he had never been away from home for that long, but when I went to pick him up he insisted he could have stayed for another week. He told us all about his experiences for two straight days! He was especially proud of the camp-out night, which created a self-sufficiency and self-confidence in him I didn't know he had. Jill and councillors were just terrific and helped all the kids to feel at ease while trying new things. Jason can't wait to go back next summer!

(September 15, 2016, 3:21 pm)I have 2 sons that have gone to Bear Creek for 2 summers now and it is the absolute highlight of their summer every year. It is everything you want your kids to be doing during at a summer camp. Between swimming, canoeing, camping out, climbing, biking, fishing and crafting I'm not sure when they sleep! They always return home with great stories of new friends and adventures and a collection of hilarious songs.Their councillors are creative, patient and kind. Jill and Matt (owners) are true professionals with decades of experience in the outdoor industry. Highly recommend!
