(October 7, 2023, 11:39 am)Excellent revamp of a local eatery. Better than what you'd expect in cottage country. The new owners did a good job improving the outdated restaurant without it changing too much. The atmosphere is cozy and down to earth. It can be very busy on weekends during the high season and reservations are recommended during that time. The interior is a pub style restaurant with a pool table, and stage for live music. Large tables at the back for groups, high table at the front that seat 4-6. and an outdoor patio/deck with tables and umbrellas. More improvements are on the way as they continue fix up the place and open up more space. The service is friendly and fun and bilingual. It's a busy spot so you may need to be patient if they are short staffed - but that's the same every where you go these days. We enjoyed their fish & chips, queso and nachos. Queso is really, really good - it's real, not out of a jar.

(September 8, 2023, 12:41 am)A great addition to Val-des-Bois! The food is simply awesome! I've tried the Fish and chips, the Pizza, the steak, the Doré and the Fajitas. Same food quality as any great restaurant in metro Ottawa-Gatineau!

(August 1, 2023, 11:46 pm)We are so happy to see this restaurant open in Val-des-Bois! The owners are young and dynamic with a lot of experience in catering. The food is delicious, the portions are generous and the foods are fresh. The employees are smiling and helpful. The trade has just opened so there are small adjustments underway, but it looks promising! It's also a fun place to have drinks, play pool and chill at the bar. Long live Waterfield Inn and Restaurant! ☺️
