When the tuning peg on my bass snapped during my visit in Montreal I had called over 6 music shops. Diplomate was the ONLY store that carried it.
Other places said even if they had the peg there was no way they could do the repair before I left (I was there for 4more days)when at Musique Diplomate I asked how I might install my new tuning peg and he just immediately showed me and helped. Took under 10 minutes.
All the staff was extremely helpful and even provided me a charger when my phone had died (my only way of navigating as a silly tourist)
This is truly a music store that takes their business seriously. Amazing service with a vast inventory! -

(August 7, 2023, 4:36 pm)Bought a super nice special edition Telecaster when visiting Montreal, had an excellent experience both days I stopped in to decide whether I wanted the guitar or not. Kara was extremely kind and helpful, and the staff even were able to find a brand new, fresh out of the box model for me after I discovered some crowning issues on the first couple of frets on the display guitar. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful but most importantly kind, and I 100% recommend this place to anyone and will be back again :)

This store is a guitarist’s dream come true 😍
Knowledgeable and accommodating staff and the largest selection of guitars in all of Quebec.
Their resident luthier brought my old guitar back to life. Thank you so much Diplomate!
