Tony has created something special with his Ynot Sailing program. Come with an open mind, and a willingness to learn. Tony is a tough, extremely knowledgeable and experienced sailor who forces you to learn from your mistakes. But, with an emphasis on safety and preparedness, and a hands on approach to teaching, he is a veritable fount of knowledge and one should learn quickly if one has the willingness to.

What I like about Tony is that the banter comes easy, he's got a head full of interesting facts and trivia, and he has a quick wit that softens his teaching style and makes learning from him a very personable experience. And what an experience it was! As much as i learned on the IYT Flotilla Skipper program with Tony, there is just so much more to learn... I'm really looking forward to continuing my sailing journey with Ynot Sailing next season and strengthening my foundation further. Thanks Tony!

Just finished my first 2 days. Learning with Tony will be hard. Learning with Tony will very hard. That means do your homeworks, listen when he talks, to every words. BUT that means you will become a better sailsman(woman). You will feel more confident when it is time to try by yourself. You will have to use logic and your memory. Beware, if you are just here for the fun, you will get it, if you really want to learn. If not, go somewhere else.

Just finished my first of two overnight sailing sessions. What a great and knowledgeable experience. Was able to apply what I learned in class. We (Tony and I) had to make last minute decision changes to our sail plan which was a fantastic learning experience. Going through the courses makes you a very prudent and confident navigator which allows you and your guests to have a more enjoyable sailing experience.

Tony is an excellent teacher with great patience. Not only he teaches you sailing but also you learn some trivia and fun facts. I will be looking at learning from from Tony once I am done with my current courses. ,

Good learning experience and solid instruction from a very experienced sailor. Although not for everyone, Tony's teaching approach forces you to learn all the basic aspects of sailing safety in a figure-it-out yourself approach, so you better come having studied the theory scrupulously. You have to be ready to make many mistakes and get corrected repeatedly, and he will not miss any chance at letting you know so you don't develop bad habits.
