This is a perfect place to stay when you want to visit Ottowa (20 min) and the Gatineau Parc (10 min). Marc is an amazing host. He loves to tell stories and gives all kinds of friendly advice for traveling and eating out. His breakfast creations make the start of the day perfect. The rooms are nice and comfortable. If we ever visit the region again we will definitely stay here. And if there is no vacancy, we'll at least visit Marc ;-)
Location was ideal for visiting the nordik spa. Room was cozy and comfortable. Host was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was well balanced and tasty. Would recommend some change to the decor as it is very dark with what may even feel like clutter at times.
Nous avons été accueillis par la femme du propriétaire et son petit garçon. Marc est arrivé peu de temps après et il a fait certain de venir se présenter. Il a répondu à nos questions. Il a pris le temps de nous demander à quelle heure nous voulions déjeuner le lendemain ainsi que s’il y avait des allergies ou autre particularité. Marc, proprio, nous a conseillé d’aller faire un tour à Wakefield pour le souper. Nous avons mangé au Hibou. Nous avons pris une multitude d’entrées à partager. Le ventre plein nous sommes revenus au bercail. Marc nous a préparé le spa et nous y avons plongé afin de relaxer de la journée à la carrière Morrison. Un autre lieu du coin où beaucoup de gens s’y baignent. Cette carrière est particulière car la pierre extraite est blanche. L’eau est clair et d’un bleu azur. Ce site est très prié des gens pratiquants la plongée pour son eau clair. Donc une expérience très agréable dans l’Outaouais. Nous recommandons.
