(October 8, 2021, 9:54 pm)I received a defective product as it was having occasional plugin issue. Its one female pin was not in its proper place, pin's circular edge was coming to the middle of the hole and blocking the insertion. I explained the problem to the customer service of Elmec Inc. They were not convinced by my complaint, they explained that it was having any problem and to pay 50 Cad . To give some weight to my complaint I added that I am a quality associate at a giant EV harness manufacturer and the problem is authentic.
They've sent me back the product by changing the "pistol" which is the good one. I don't have any problem now. I am satisfied to 50% because they have not recognized the issue as an ISSUE.
As a Quality professional, I felt like, it is my duty to inform the manufacturer about the issue (which can damage a customer's expensive car) for product improvement, still the manufacturer has not recognized it as a good feed back.
I recommend the product but check the nozzle's floating pins. -
