The proprietor, Bernard Laurendeau, originally installed the solar heating system on my roof (four coils of heavy duty hose) more than 25 years ago. It has worked flawlessly, and if my experience is typical, will raise the temperature of a 16 foot above-ground pool between 2 - 4 degrees Celsius, depending upon the sun exposure and any measures taken to blanket the pool at night. I have a pool that is far more usable than an unheated one, often being able to swim until the end of September, at a fraction of the cost of electrical or gas heating. There has never been any damage to the roof, and the initial cost of the system is far less than competing set-ups. Bernard is unfailingly punctual, reliable, and always eager to please his customers.

I had this system installed almost 18 years ago, the year after I had my pool installed. It was the best decision I could have made in regards to heating my pool. Before installing it the best I could hope for was 75°F and that was during the really hot summer days. After installing the system I easily reach 95°F during the hot summer days. With the thermostat, I set it at 85°F and it's perfect! It's incredibly reliable and you can imagine there is absolutely no cost to run! Because it's solar heat it's free heat for the pool! As for support, Bernard and his team are always available when I need them, they are the only ones I use to close the pool. They know exactly how to make sure the system is well taken care of. One year I tried to get another company to close the pool, they didn't do it properly and the mechanism to control the heating of the water broke! That was the last time anyone besides Bernard closed my pool for the winter. I highly recommend this system to anyone who is looking for an effective, reliable and environmentally friendly heating system for their pool. It makes the summer swims so much more enjoyable!!!!!

M. Laurendeau's service is the best in the industry. He is very professional and takes his work to heart! I would highly recommend him and his products as well. I had him install a solar heating system in my house for my pool (42 x 17) and it heats extremely well and doesn't cost me a cent, and was less expensive than a thermo pump in my case. Honest and true, a great man!
