(July 11, 2022, 1:01 pm)Decided to go on a beery road trip in the Laurentians, and this was our first stop.
Great setup, with a fire pit, picnic tables and a deck giving you access to the river.
The location used to be a synagogue, so it has that spiritual thing going on.
Personnel was friendly and helpful, explained the beers well.
The lager served via lukr was excellent, the IPA was also great.
There was a pop up shop, a Thai family making papaya salad and pad Thai, it was great.
It was worth suffering through the traffic heading north to check this place out. -

After some stumbles with production in a pandemic context, Ayawan is consistently turning out a wide variety of compelling brews. The idyllic riverside location alone makes this a worthwhile detour from Le Ptit Train or the 117!

(May 15, 2022, 4:57 pm)Beautiful place, near the river. Victim of its own popularity, perhaps, there were only 3 types of beer left out of the 6 that were advertised. I tried 2 and they were both delicious. Thete was a small selection of food available as well.
