The chalet is beautiful and had everything we needed. It is packed with amenities that make the building itself quite comfortable and would make for a 5 star stay in winter or shoulder seasons. However, as a summer chalet stay when looking to be outside enjoying the summer sun, it fell a bit short. Unfortunately the lake leaves much to be desired - shallow, weedy water with a mucky bottom full of branches and debris. The lake was not conducive to swimming, really only good for paddling. Thankfully there were several boats included. The gravel/sand landscaping underfoot isn't particularly appealing or comfortable for playing, lounging, etc. and there's not much level ground in the yard to accomodate outdoor games or gathering with a larger group (which the chalet seems designed around accommodating). The landscaping seemed to still be a work-in-progress so perhaps that would change for future guests.

wow! Superb place. Everything was super clean, well organized and what about the location. Thanks to the owner, we rented last minute and it was up to and even more than our expectations.
