huts are big and with power outlet. inside it has sofa and chairs to rest. unlimited wood for the fireplace. unlimited liver for fishing. drink-able water at the welcome centre for cooking. has heated washtoom and sink to wash your hands. huts are pets friendly.
esso gas station and motels just a block away, fast food restaurants are within walking distant. very convenient to stay for one-day two-day get away.
been told peak time are around starting of Jan- 31st. you can catch up to 18inches.
it would be safe and better to make a reservation before heading.
we went visit on Feb 11-12 (mon-tue), cost 25 dollars per person. minimum 60 dollars per huts weekend/holiday 30 dollars each (whereas in toroto small huts for yellow perch would be 50 dollars each ;trout huts 70 without outlet and barely fit for 4 people).
we harvested about 150 fish each day. you can catch way more during the peak time.
season ends Feb 19 this year. hope this help for whoever would like to visit next year. -
