(February 28, 2021, 1:14 am)Hello, I have been a general contractor since 1990. This fall I had a client where I had cracks in the foundation to be repaired from the outside. A friend referred me to Onyx Concrete Finish and Repair to try them out. I contacted them and Dame Marie Hélène took care of my file. His questions and just as much his answers set the tone for his professionalism. After sending him some photos as requested I received a quote. It was well detailed, clear and left no room for ambiguity. The lady even called me to make sure everything was clear. So surprised, I asked her if she was the owner so much that she was knowledgeable. I gave the contract right away with confidence. I am always on site the first time I have a subcontractor work. A few days later, 2 employees arrived to do the excavation work, repairing the cracks and the whole process. Two very competent men who were not at their first cracks. Two guys who love what they do and it showed. Thereafter, the stone, the filling and especially the cleaning at the end. Everything was spotless! My client was very nervous to have this work done. He was pleasantly surprised and very satisfied with the end result. I had other work done by this company at another location and it was the same.
We have easy criticism, but also have to compliment and I want to do it.
