(September 12, 2023, 1:49 am)We were in the area whale watching and decided on Restaurant du Boisé based on previous reviews. We didn't realize reservations were required when we arrived. Since it was early into the supper hour we thought we would enquire as to seating availability. We got lucky and were seated right away. We realize this is probably an exception to the rule and being low season and a Monday. We couldn't have been happier to get seated and it was greatly appreciated. We both ordered the 10oz striploin with fries, salad and pepper sauce. We also ordered a side of Nordic shrimp with garlic butter. It was all fantastic! Best steak I have had in a restaurant in awhile. Cooked perfectly and the pepper sauce was very tasty as well. I finished my plate before realizing I forgot to take a photo :(
We were so full we had no room for what I am sure would have been an awesome dessert.
Our server was very patient and helpful as our french is a work in progress.

We stay at the hotel in Tadoussac but could not find the crab and lobster menu like this at all. We found this restaurant from the google map search. And We really love it.
If we visit Tadoussac again, we will definitely come back. -
