At the beginning, just a breakfast to rest from the Essipit cruise (very good local coffee) and in the end great guided tour by Éloi of the museum, a really passionate archaeologist who introduced us to the history of the North Shore and the artifacts available to the museum. Super well-animated animal-totem workshop by Christine. In the end, we spent more than 3 hours at this place and we loved chatting with the team, who are super friendly.

Very nice experience. We were lucky to have Marc-André as a guide to introduce us to the history and archeology of Les Bergeronnes. It is worth having the various attractions of the site explained to you by someone who knows about it. The cafe and shop are also very welcoming. Very affordable activity.

Positive point: there is a telework space and a coffee corner with basic amenities (crockery, utensils, microwave oven) for those who have their own lunch. It is a very peaceful and warm place.

Go to the cafe, the staff person was so friendly, we bought ramen and coffee and he even prepared the ramen and brought it to our table with silverware! The views are great too. Thank you. :)

Museum, shop, café-muffins and viewpoint which go unnoticed because in Google Map Archéo Topo is hidden by another business (cruise). The two being in the same building.

The store is interesting because everything is handmade and the prices are lower than in Tadoussac. (Tadoussac, the tourist trap.)

The museum focuses on the archeology of the region and also tells its history.
It is difficult to cover 8000 years in a few hours but the objects with the cards during the course help a lot.
We also tell the story of Louis Gagnon who spent a good part of his life digging up, sometimes against his will while plowing his field, hundreds of objects which were dated and surprised archaeologists around the world. Still good for an old farmer...
Some ship artifacts are on display but the maritime side is not there in this museum.
A room is dedicated to local fauna (taxidermy required) and most of the animals are astonishingly realistic.
Short-term activities are possible such as making pottery or making a dream catcher, all at a low price...
Rachel served us a good coffee and we succumbed to the attractions of the shop.
The shop and its restaurant area with the view are worth the detour alone!
