Was originally going with a 4/5, only because the way this works can be a little awkward. When snow has solidified to a certain point, it will ride down the slip and slide carpet, then perfectly balanced as a block of snow all the way down the pole and right into your chest. My wife found it absolutely hilarious and even secretly filmed me doing it.

When snow is loose, it works exactly as you'd expect and is way better than the inverted shovel on a pole design. I cleared 2 feet of snow off of my 20x16 garage roof in about 10 minutes.

What gets this an extra star is the fantastic customer service. My slip and slide component got damaged, either by rough use or perhaps a latent manufacturing defect that propagated as a tear out. I contacted Polarmade by email and they sent me a replacement component in no time. Can't ask for more.

    Great product and great company.

An essential Quebec tool! Works very well. Much less grueling, faster and safer than getting on your roof. When there is a lot of snow on the ground, put on snowshoes! Company that also offers very good service.

I have just bought a snowpier and cleared my roof.
Well .. First things if you do not buy the premium or extensions you can not do your roof from the ground. For my departure I took the normal because I do it from my roof.
Second, aluminum is very slippery when it's cold and you have a bit of snow in your hands. Doing that the handle always slips from your hands and you must force like a weak to succeed in keeping the tool in your hands (Here I speak from the roof). So, I put hockey on the whole stick! Then it's been very well maintained.
The snowpeeler do the job well in the snow or snow kicking (but not too much) IF you have layers of ice on the roof forget right away the idea of using the snowpeeler. I never managed to cut the ice, the tools folds well before I managed to pass. So plan to remove the snow before it rains.
Otherwise the tool is fine, the parts are of good quality (the crazy carpet is very solid I do not give it an easy life and nothing seems to be there) and there is a guarantee .. I have not read the details elsewhere: D.
In short I recommend the purchase of this tool (although I find it very expensive) because it seems solid enough for several years!

Transform a painful and dangerous task into a simple and safe task. Another good reason to look forward to more snow !! Very interesting product improved by a company that seems very promising!
