The owner chatted us up quite a bit which was fun + the live music was great! -

Sorry i never catch a name from the guitar player but he was awesome and the stuff couldn't believe how friendly everybody was what a great place to eat dinner and have a glas wine...hope see you all next year. (October 17, 2018, 10:54 pm)Visited Quebec City back in 2009. During that visit we dined at Cafe De Paris. It was an amazing experience back in 2009 and it's amazing today!
I've read some of the reviews and some I agree with, but overall it's so worth it.
It's a place that's familiar and warm, with awesome live music while you have an "aperitif".
The only criticism I have has to do with our dinner prep. The restaurant was packed, and it took away from the experience of having our steaks made in front of us because of another table squeezed really close to us - but, it was all forgiven because of the quality of the beef.
The service was awesome, as well. She was attentive and friendly. She didn't miss a beat - on point for the whole 2.5 hrs we were there.
Anyway, if you're looking for a fun, relaxing vibe, while being in a romantic setting, dine at Cafe De Paris!
