All from the average quality expected from the $250 t0 $350 range and although this Darksword Squire was a little bit higher, the comparison is amazing. The grind on the blade is perfect on both sides, the sharpening of the blade is almost invisible, fit and finish is outstanding, even better than I had hoped, and the scabbard is a beauty -
I had read a number of the reviews on this and other Darkswords and can easily see why they have the reputation for quality that they have' and this one is a great example.
The staff at Darksword were very helpful, answered any questions I had and then it shows up much sooner than expected-- This sword is now by far the star of my collection-

The products are head turners at my table and I am very proud of them. On top of the quality product, the customer service has been top notch for me. Hats off to Chris Renaud, who has been awesome helping with my orders.

(October 18, 2022, 9:09 pm)I received my Baron sword two weeks ago. It is stunning. The workmanship is very high. The grip is very nicely made with cord pattern wrapping on the leather. The blade and edge geometry is very good and sharp. No apple seed bevel which is great. Will be purchasing more pieces !

I made the purchase after seeing recent glowing reviews, and my sword arrived with even further improvements of the model. The curves and aperture of the crossguard are exquisite, the peen is completely polished and flush. I'm already browsing their site for more swords.
