As a health professional with almost thirty years experience , I consulted with other professionals as to where I may acquire a CPAP mask. I had heard so many stories regarding the challenges etc - needless to say I was concerned.

I was given top references for Ruby who I discovered works at the Lasalle and West Island branch of Clinique Sommeil Santé. My appointment was after work on Friday afternoon on Sources.

Despite the timing ,Ruby was exceptionally patient and equally important to me- so knowledgeable. She guided me as to which machine and mask would be optimal for me. Then Ruby explained in simple terms that I could easily follow as I am 64 and technical machinery is generally daunting for me as to how to make it work.

What amazed me was when she said - anytime you have questions or concerns even on weekends you may e-mail me and I will answer and you can come see me for follow up and or call during the week, This machine has a modem and she is able to review the results on the internet.

Once we completed the process , I left with complete confidence , knowing I have Ruby who is a veteran in this area for twenty-five years and I could have her ongoing support.

Therefore, I would describe this service with Ruby as outstanding.
One last comment- there is plenty of free and easy parking. The office is quiet and very clean and the receptionist was very helpful with my insurance forms etc.

I wrote this post before I even tried the machine because I was so thrilled with the service as Ruby was so comforting and supportive etc Last night was my first night with the CPAP. I found myself anxious to put it together and wondered if I put on the mask correctly - eg. was too much air coming out etc. I tried to relax and in the morning when I read the computer read out- I slept for 9 and a half hours and my mask was on 100%. I already feel so much better this morning even though Ruby told me it may take understandably several weeks to adjust. I am amazzzzzzed with the results already because according to my sleep study- I woke up 33 times per hour. I can not express how profoundly grateful I am to have the privilege to be cared for so exceptionally .
