Atelier Schleiss + Carter

I started working on my house project with Morgan Carter almost 3 years ago from Atelier Schleiss + Carter. The project is just being completed right now, and I will have my dream home by the time it’s finished. The attention to details is just unbelievable and I am counting down the days until I will be able to live in my home. They have been very vigilant in following the Historical component of the project, and have made the permit application and helping me choose the right contractors effortless. Amélie, who is another architect at Atelier Shleiss + Carter has been a pleasure to also work with, she has taken the lead on many of the design components and has been making sure all my needs and my vision comes together. We worked with Morgan Carter of Atelier Schleiss + Carter in 2022 for a complete overhaul and renovation of our kitchen (down to the studs and then some), in our 140 year old home and we couldn't be happier with the experience. My husband and I recently moved to Pointe St Charles and were looking for a local PSC architect that had extensive experience in remodeling century homes. After our first encounter with Matthieu, we knew from the get-go that he would be our architect for the duration of our project. Matthieu and his team took care of everything! From designing our plans to helping select finishes to selecting our construction team to obtaining permits, Matthieu and his team were available throughout the whole process. Matthieu is a perfectionist! He works hard to make sure that everything is perfect for you and will think of details and finishes that you could never come up with. Available, dedicated and reasonable he will also work with your budget by incorporating budget friendly ideas that are of quality and that work with his plans. Are renovations fun? Hell no! But if you want to make the process less stressful, I would definitely recommend Matthieu and his team's service in a heartbeat.
