(November 6, 2022, 8:05 pm)Delicious food in larggeee amounts. The rose water dessert is really delicious and light. The streak kabob was perfectly cooked. My favourite thing was the beef-pasta appetizer (no picture)!
The vibes in the restaurant are also lovely.
For $35, there was a lot of rice compared to meat on the plate, but it was tasty. -

(October 22, 2022, 9:33 am)Its been a while since I ate an Afghan food. This restaurant fulfilled my cravings. I ordered lentils soup, Manto and Kabuli palaw. The meat is so juicy and tender. Definitely worth the visit!

Note for non QC folks...you can bring your own wine, no corkage fee. There's a convenience store down the street to buy a bottle if it's last minute.
The lamb kebab was bomb...as was the lentil soup.
Also had the lamb shank, first item on the menu, which was killer.....the rice was phenomenal. Basically, you won't regret coming here. Great value for this amazing food. -

(June 6, 2022, 2:32 pm)Showed up with one other person without a reservation on a Saturday around 8pm and we were seated quickly. It was completely packed around 8:30/9. And it’s easy to see why! It was so tasty!
Our waiter was very friendly and helpful and we ordered the meal #2 and it started with some warm bread and chutneys, then soup (I had the lentil and really enjoyed it), then the lamb shank, and finally dessert and tea. Everything was so delicious and the portions were very generous. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I would definitely go back again. -

(March 19, 2022, 12:33 pm)My boyfriend and I ordered main course option 1 each. Everything was good. Meats ( beef and lamp ) were so tender , we enjoyed our dinner. But why I give 4 stars not 5 stars is they forgot giving us entrée ! We realised when we got home 😅
By the way it was excellent experience having Afghanistan food , I highly recommend.
