Excellent daycare situated in the heart of the Plateau.

I highly recommend Les Petits Sportifs du Plateau. I chose this daycare even though it is not close to my house, because after visiting many daycares, this was the only one that I felt was good enough for my little boy.

1-Owner. John-Anthony, the owner/director, is honest, trustworthy and hardworking. He took the time to address all of my worries about putting my son in daycare. He inspired so much trust that I felt he was like a long lost member of the family. Whenever I had a question, he answered promptly and clearly. He exudes confidence and love for what he does; it is obvious to me that he and his family are in the daycare business because they love children, desire to create happy places for little ones, and want to provide parents with peace of mind. The Di Manno’s have a strong, good reputation in the daycare business (they have three). I know other people who have used their daycares, and they were very happy.

2-Premises. Les Petits Sportifs is a medium-sized daycare, not too big, not too small; it feels cozy yet school-like. The place itself is very clean, organized, and welcoming. The price point for the daycare is perfect. I visited many, many daycares prior to choosing this one, and some had a terrible stench, some looked dingy and dank. Considering that my son is the most precious person is my life, I would never put him anywhere that I did not consider top-notch.

3-Caring staff. My son is a real firecracker, and I thought he would hate daycare. Rather, after only three days, he got accustomed to the rules of the place without a fuss. The staff welcomed him, cared for him, and helped him get accustomed to this new place even though he can sometimes be a very strong-willed child.

4-Healthy food. The food is healthy, with fresh fruits and vegetables. Even though I was extremely against daycare at first, I noticed that my son started eating better at home because of it.

Conclusion: The government will reimburse you for some of the costs incurred for choosing a private daycare. Sometimes, the end price for a private daycare ends up being almost the same as for a CPE. Private daycares can be a real crapshoot: some are good, some are not so good. Les Petits Sportifs du Plateau is very, very good! If you live in the area, I suggest you take a look at this daycare. You will not be disappointed.

A little gem. My son can't wait to get there in the morning. The owners are a lovely family and the educators are loving and knowledgeable.
