I have two autistic children, and I've always been through hell to get their hair cut... When I approached Julie and Maude by explaining to them my cocos and their hypersensitivity, it was with immense openness and a big smile that they accepted to receive them. For the first time in their lives, my boys are in love with hairdressers! They are sweet, attentive and adapt to children. My eldest isn't very patient, no problem, Maude gives him a spectacular haircut in two minutes... If he's feeling talkative, she can chat with him for so long about superheroes, it's impressive!
Julie, for her part, immediately understood that my youngest needs gentleness and confidence! She takes the time needed, checks if he thinks he looks good, tells him before leaving the dryer... It seems trivial, but their open attitude, their smiles and their gentleness have really lightened my life! And my boys love them! I recommend to all parents, if they were able to charm my darlings and make them love the haircut, they can work miracles with any child! (My boyfriend and I are also going to see Maude and Julie respectively, they are just as adorable with adults!!! ;) ) -
