(July 26, 2021, 3:59 pm)We visited this forged with my sons on a rainy day in La Malbaie. The blacksmith was excellent at demystifying her work and the history of this forge. My son received a small souvenir forged for him as a bonus. The entrance fee is extremely affordable compared to the effort of the forge team in the context that they cannot lead more than one group at a time. The visit lasted about 1 hour. You can only be impressed by the resourcefulness of the Cauchon family through the generations. Ancestral know-how in its purest form.
