(December 2, 2018, 7:52 pm)In order to help and because I could afford to offer money or groceries at Christmas, I started volunteering for Moisson Québec today.
4 hours per month that I take in my overtime from work.
First 4am this morning. People and businesses donate food every week and these must be redistributed every day except weekends.
And there is a great need there. Spend half a day preparing the boxes for the organization, like Lauberivière, who greatly need it.
The figures I saw this morning speak of a 12% increase in demand from April to September. And for the food to reach mouths, it takes volunteers.
Do you have a little spare time ? Every little bit helps, they will be really happy with your support. And since I decided to offer 1 Thursday am per month, we might see each other there!
