We were looking for a place to Stay while visiting the Granby Zoo. Very happy I found this place online. I was a little worried about the showers based on previous reviews, but they were fine (didn't stay on a weekend, maybe they run out of hot water then?). Popped in a looney and had plenty of time to wash up. I was actually waiting for a few minutes because I rushed a little too much. My wife has lots of hair, so in this case bring two loonies. If you're like me an think "charging for a shower is silly, and I don't like it", you (like me) are wrong in thinking this. The cost is low, and it prevents people from abusing the showers and wasting all the hot water. Anyway, enough about the showers. The bathrooms are clean, and cleaned regularly. I don't "glamp", but I do like a clean place to get clean.

We were camping with a Tent and the sites were large. Plenty of room for our 8 person tent, our kitchen tent, and the minivan. A lot of site back on to a nice large field that can be used for frisby, bocce or any other fun activity.

The pool was very nice. Perfect temperature. The playgrounds were also great for the kids. Of course the giant bubble and splashpad are also a hit with the kids. This really is a great place for the family.

If you don't have kids, don't worry, the loud activities are spaced away from the camp sites (the seasonal campers need to deal with the noise!)

The front office has a decent selection of items you might need. I grabbed some marshmallows and a few beers, and they have very reasonable pricing.

I can't recommend this place enough. If you're in the neighbourhood, or you're visiting the Zoo, stay at this place! (they also have nice looking cabins for rent if you don't want to sleep in a tent and/or don't own a trailer).

Not the best camping. Not the worst. The river is a lot of fun play in. The rest is barely average.

Day 1. Arrived early and we were able to go to our slot.

Sites are clean, wide and spacious, lots of trees on seasonal sites.

Park is older but 5&8 y.o. had a blast running around in the play structure.

Pool looks lovely but its a little cool. The splash pad was great to keep the kids busy while we set up.

Our favorite part for day 1, the creek. We played in the water for hours on the in we tube and kayak. We moved a few rocks where the water level was low. The kids were done at the end of the day from floating down and hiking back up. We were respectful and asked on of the campers to have access to the water side and avoided going up and down. We saw all sorts of wild life, fish, turtle, "shrimp", these weird green worms in a square shell, a beautiful spider with a giant egg sack, birds, squirrels, frogs.
Bring your lawn chair and have a seat in the water.

Wood truck came by in mid evening (around 6:30pm).

They have premade slush puppy at the front office. (Also a success with the kids).

The community hall is spacious and has a ping pong table and billiards table. There is a leading Library. If you were thinking of giving away books.... Might be a nice place to leave them.
