Although it took quite a while to get our initial energy assessment, we are very happy with the journey through that assessment, the renovations and the post-renovation reports. Our HomeSol rep. (Meaghan) was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional and was responsive to our questions and email. Great experience!

Just had a energy evaluation done. The person was very informative, went through and explained every step of the process as they were doing it. Went over different options that would be good for our home. They were professional but also very approachable. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The day before significant renovations, was happening to my home, Josh from Homesol arrived at my home to conduct the home energy assessment. Josh was extremely professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and explained everything in advance and while doing everything. This was truly a gift, as I’m about to have contractors come into my home to address certain things, including insulation and my heating system. Josh explained to me how my windows can be resealed as many of them are leaking air. He explained that my windows are good, but it’s just minor stuff to address–fairly inexpensive during the renovations of my home – which, in itself, will make a difference in my home. When he took me around my house to show me the leaks of air during the blower test, I was impressed and learned so much about how heat escapes in my home which is over 120 years old. I found Josh to be extremely knowledgable about hot water tanks and heating systems that are on the market and what I need to research and buy for my own home. Also, I was thoroughly impressed about his knowledge on the different R-factors of insulation needed in each of the 3 different places in my attic, and then in my walls. The way that Josh explained everything made me learn things about my home, that I would never have learned otherwise, not even when my renovations would be done. So if you’re lucky enough to get someone like Josh to conduct your assessment, you’ll will be a happy home owner!!

Homsol responded to my initial inquiry within hours of sending in the request form. Derek conducted our energy assessment and was very friendly, respectful and explained everything he was doing. We received our report back quicker than expected as well. Was very pleased with the whole process and service we received.

A Homesol representative came to our home earlier this month Nov/22 to do an assessment as to what solutions would be most beneficial to increase cost saving solutions for us.
He was very thorough, efficient, knowledgeable and personable. If we asked, he would explain what he was doing and why but otherwise just went about his business.
My husband and I both felt at ease with the Representative in our home and are looking forward to receiving report
