Parkview Farms Tourist Home & Cottages

Oh my god, the baby cows! If we could rate this place 6/5 overall, we would. The family running the farm and cottages were great. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the island. The beach is a five minute walk away, and is lovely. Spending time with the cats and cows was the highlight of our visit!

Originally planning to stay two nights but hurricane Fiona brings high wind and poor road condition keeps us here for an extra night in the farm house. The family is so attentive to their guests. I definitely feels like part of the family.

The cottage is very clean and it has everything that you need to prepare a great seafood dinner with fresh seafood from the local store.

I highly recommend this place for everyone who come visit PEI. Thank you Doug, Heather and Donna.

By far the highlight of our trip. What an amazing place to stay. The people here are so welcoming you feel like you’ve lived there your whole life. Watching the workings of this farm was so special for our little guy to see. It was so quiet and calm and peaceful to be here for three days. I could have stayed forever. It was nice to be so central but yet removed from the hustle bustle of cavendish or other towns. So close to the beach and so close to many other great places to see on PEI.
The cabins themselves are extremely nice and have everything you need. The little toddler bed in the one room was awesome for our little guy. So much space in the whole cabin.

The only thing we disliked was the street lamp that was right in front of all the cabins. There were no other street lights except right there. Little awkward when you want to sit outside on your deck but I get they need lights. Just could have been placed a bit further back or forward!!!

Would 100% come back here.

Just checking out. This was a very unique experience. We are a family of five, which can sometimes be hard to accommodate. The 3 bedroom cottage was amazing. First impression was for My wife and I to both say, "When are we booking next year". The stay felt like a home away from home. Our kids (8, 9 and 18 years)loved the barn with all the cats and cows. Close to the beach and everything else, yet tranquil and quiet. Perfect PEI family vacation.

We love this place. Have stayed in the house, the "A"frame and the cottages and all are lovely. While the cabins are not modern style, they are cozy and comfortable and you won't be spending much time inside anyway as you will find many things to do in the area. On the farm you can be in the barn when the cows are being milked and play with the cats in the barn. Then it is a short walk to a beautiful beach. The hosts are wonderful and make you feel at home. Such a relaxing and peaceful place to stay with a beautiful view of the water and fiery sunsets.
Kitchen has most of the basics but a good idea is to stop in Charlottetown for groceries to bring with you. Lots of bedding supplied and bathtub and shower both in #2.
Hosts are amazing! You will enjoy your stay.
