(July 6, 2023, 1:17 pm)It's free and was nice to watch the buffalo just being. The park is a short drive through trail where you can park and get out to look at the buffalo, then pack back in your car and continue. I wish there was a plaque with interesting facts or something for kids to read. I was curious about who takes care of them or how this area came to be. I think it's a great idea and was a quick little trip along the way to another activity.

(June 28, 2023, 6:31 pm)This trip we were able to see the buffalo! Sometimes they are in different areas where you can't see them. They were noble, ancient-seeming and majestic! It's wonderful that the monks care for them.

(April 30, 2023, 10:31 pm)We have been on the Island 16 months and until today only have seen the evidence that these majestic beasts exist. Well today we were blessed seeing the herd. I cannot wait to see the again. They were beautiful ❤️
