Upon entering the salt room, I was immediately struck by the calming ambiance. Pink Himalayan salt; which emitted a warm and inviting glow. As I settled into my lounge chair, I felt the stress of the day start to melt away.
The spa attendant explained that the Himalayan salt room was designed to replicate the microclimate of a salt cave. The room is heated to a comfortable temperature, and a halogenerator pumps tiny salt particles into the air. These particles are said to have a variety of health benefits, including improving respiratory function, boosting the immune system, and reducing inflammation.
As I relaxed in the salt room, I noticed that my breathing became deeper and more relaxed. I also felt a sense of mental clarity and focus. After the session, I left feeling refreshed and revitalized.
