I stayed at Briarwood Coastal Cottages & Lodge for a few months and loved my experience. I stayed there solo for work with my dog and had a wonderful stay. I stayed in a two story cottage with a lovely kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a living room! The cottage is very cute and cozy and had everything I needed. The location is just gorgeous with a wonderful view of the water and a lovely field to walk in. In addition the location is perfect for watching sunrises and sunsets. The owners of Briarwood are so kind and accommodating and go above and beyond. I felt so comfortable and at home here and look forward to coming back again!

Lisa and Paul are excellent hosts. My suite was cozy and warm. Paul was always eager to assist with any issues around the suite. Definitely recommend!

My sister and I stayed there while on a road trip. We wish we could have stayed longer and explored the property. It was so peaceful with a light mist over the water in the early morning. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. We felt welcome and we enjoyed our stay. Only slight negative was a musty smell in the bathroom but that didn’t bother us much. Best of all they let me plug in my electric vehicle in the regular power outlet.
I highly recommend that places that offer accommodation install a couple of level 2 chargers (or even an rv or dryer plug). People with electric vehicles search for these types of destinations.

I was (I believe) our 3rd time staying here, 2nd with the 'New' owners. The place is very well maintained, the owners go out of their way to make sure you're happy. The Host Dog is very friendly and well behaved. The location is perfect if you're looking for an out of the way place. There is a grocery store and 2 small places to eat with-in 5 minutes drive. The only negative I have is Tim Hortons is 30 minutes away : )
