  I've been to a lot of Green Grottos, but this one is honestly my favourite. The space is nice and cozy and the service is great.

  My boyfriend and I stopped coming here in spring 2018 because we suspected it was under new management that didn't adhere to the previous management's standards (reading other reviews, I now see we were right.) We had agreed not to go back, but decided to give it another try for the first time in almost a year. We were so happy that things were back to normal, the service, drinks, and fresh popcorn were excellent. I've never ordered a meal, so I can't comment on the quality of the food. Depending on the time of day it can get really full, but if you get in at the right time it's a really comfortable place to hang out for a while. I don't know the name of the stellar waitress who usually serves us on Friday nights (will ask next time, but if you've been there you know who I mean) but she's friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. I'm glad we decided to give this place a second chance, I'm looking forward to making it part of our weekend routine again.

  Update September 2018.
  
  The old owner has come back to this location and everything has been significantly better as it was in the past. The bubble tea is on point, there is no hassle when ordering drinks and most importantly you feel welcomed when you enter there which makes me want to go there more often. The bubble tea is amazing, there is no hassle when requesting a special drink or a minor change. The food is great too, please refer to my pictures below, salt & pepper chicken with rice etc.

  This Green Grotto location has declined significantly once the previous owner had left. The previous owner knew my order and would do minor changes without hesitation. In contrast, the new management would ask me several questions or state they cannot do my requested drink and would ask me multiple times what I want.
  The initial time I went I had noticed the management was 'off,' as their communication, approach, demeanour, and professionalism is horrible. At least have a better approach and understanding towards people.
  Look at my drink (I took our the liquid so you can see in the picture). I got a 'Mixed fruit green tea,' but instead of mixing fresh fruit such as apples, mandarins, and grapes, they used fruit that was processed and canned which changes the whole flavour of the drink. People know if they are getting 'cheated' on food regardless of what type it is. Furthermore, people are willing to pay more and receive excellent quality. However, it seems that the new management does not notice or consider that.
  I would suggest bringing back the old management even though he went back to China, change the new management or give them further training because they lack when operating.

  Got the passion fruit aloe vera drink. It was too sweet for me (I forgot to get less sugar), but the flavour was nice. Not sure how busy it is during the school year, but it was quiet enough to do some studying without being disturbed.

  Despite us requesting for what seemed like 5 popcorn refills, the staff were able to accommodate us. Right when we finished our drinks, someone came right away without us asking and gave us waters! Super impressed for their five star service, and comfortable seats
