(November 21, 2018, 2:42 am)Nice getaway from the suburbs right in the middle of the suburbs. A few different paths with multiple viewpoints and bridges over water. A lot of swans suprisingly. Even saw a turtle once on the path. I wish Markham carved out more conservation areas like this around the city.

(August 3, 2018, 10:26 pm)Great place for picnic and there is a park for younger children and there is even pathways for walking and seeing animals we even saw a baby rabbit so cute!!!

(July 29, 2018, 12:53 am)It's a nice simple little park. The pier at the base of the park is nice. Depending on the wind, it can be very windy or it could blow some of the mist from the fountain on you. The trail is a little old. Some parts, the concrete has given way to weeds and grass. There is actually a family of swans here. There are signs warning park goers not to feed the swans under threat of swan removal. There's also a lot of poop on the path courtesy of the Canada Geese. Like so much, it looks like you're dancing from a fair distance away. The trails also extend around the lake with loops and bridges that double back. There is evidence people build fires in the hidden and harder to reach parts of the path. Not sure for what reason (marshmallows, cult sacrifices, pyro maniacs, etc.). Overall, it's a good park.
