  Lovely, cozy place. Very friendly atmosphere. Fantastic local family runs this gem. Definitely worth to stop by and see it for yourself :)

  I've been making wine and beer at U-Brew places since they started in early 1990s, in Hamilton. Over the years lots of places have opened, and almost as many have closed. I discovered Barry and Liz only recently-- their "Towne Winer" facility is by far the best of all the places I've made wine at in all those years. If you want a quality product at a reasonable price, this is the place to come. Barry is a careful, knowledgeable and passionate winemaker, and Liz is cheery and helpful with the bottling process. If I could give six stars I would!

  Great store. Knowledgeable staff and a fantastic atmosphere. Ordered 60 bottles for our Wedding later this year and had a great time finding the best suited wines.

  This experience was terrific-from start to finish. Everyone involved was polite and efficient. I highly recommend the Towne Winer to enjoy the fun and experience in making your own wine. I have been looking for a new place to make wine and we've found it. We had never been to the Towne Winer before, the experience has been excellent. Barry and Liz are very polite, professional and knowledgeable. Very helpful too!!! We will recommend this awesome place to friends and family. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. Cheers!   The Towne Winer has been a vital part of the south end in Guelph for years and its clear why; they have great product and service. When i brewed a batch of beer, they took the time to explain the process to me and the best way to store and enjoy the product. I highly recommend visiting their store on Downey Rd.
