(March 13, 2023, 1:29 am)Amazing sushi, service, and beautiful presentation. This is a hidden gem for AYCE sushi. Everything was great, fresh and tasty. I much prefer the raw fish to the cooked (torched) option.
My only knock and why I gave it a 3 star for atmosphere is that they have a traditional Japanese sitting area. My family was the only patrons in the restaurant, but we were told that it's 30% service fee to sit in the traditional Japanese area. 5 stars for everything else. -

(February 7, 2023, 4:36 am)This place was AMAZING! Me and my boyfriend wanted to try a new sushi place and took a chance on this restaurant- we both walked out agreeing this is our new sushi spot. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The presentation of the food was very thought out. The staff is SUPER friendly. Overall I left feeling like I would definitely like to come back. Would recommend!!

(February 2, 2023, 1:20 am)We spontaneously walked into this sushi place for some takeout. The staff were so kind, welcoming and accommodating that we said how much we would like to eat in next time. This was even before we tasted the food - the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. When we got home, we were delighted by the amazing presentation in our sushi box, a real flower and sliced fruit - just gorgeous! And finally, I have to say the food is absolutely delicious. This has been a fantastic food experience every step of the way. Best Sushi in Guelph - we will most definitely be back for more!

The fish was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared, with a wide variety of flavors and textures that left me wanting more. The sushi rolls were expertly crafted and ingeniously composed, showcasing the chef's creativity and skill. The atmosphere was simple and elegant, with a focus on the quality of the food. Service was also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend coming here to anyone looking for an outstanding sushi experience.

(November 20, 2022, 2:19 am)Service was outstanding! Food was delicious. Some things were a little overcooked, but that is personal taste. Selection was good. Decor was lacking, but they are brand new, so it's understandable. I would rate it a 4.5, but that's not an option. Note quite a 5, but it is all minor things. This place is great for what it is. This is not a high-end, overpriced sushi place, but the food is a lot better than you'd expect. Overall, if I'm in the area, I would definitely come again. One of the better Japanese places I've been to!
